Occupational Therapist School Setting - Warwick, RI

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational Therapist needed for a full-time contract position within a public school setting in Providence, RI. This role involves providing occupational therapy services at Hope High School, supporting students in achieving their educational goals through tailored therapeutic interventions. The position requires in-person attendance and adherence to state licensure requirements.

Location:

Duration:

• ASAP start through 6/16/2026

Hours:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions aligned with individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes following state and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and communication with families as needed

Qualifications:

• Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy (state requirements must be met)
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to work in-person full-time at the Providence location
• Strong communication and organizational skills
