Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team in the commercial construction sector. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction with experience in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide estimates and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant data for estimating purposes.
• Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations on project cost-saving measures and alternatives.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in retail, grocery, healthcare, office building, hotel, distribution, multi-family, tenant improvement, mixed-use, schools, and K-12 projects is a plus.
